Annie Auster is an observation aircraft, Annie is a vintage aircraft born in 1942 and is only a year younger than Winston Whittle. Annie is bright and cheerful and always looks out for the other younger aircraft (It's her job!) and always puts grumpy Winston in his place when he moans about the 'Young whippersnappers!' Annie's job include:- observation which she does very well with her high wings, Annie also helps with transporting VIP's and injured soldiers. All the aircraft and crew love Annie and often see her as Waddingthorpe's agony aunt!
